Because of the many environmental, political and economic issues
related to the extraction of crude oil from the seabed this seems an
awkward choice for designing it as a toy. At the same time it is also an
opportunity to present this toy with information about its many impli-
cations in real life. For a child it is also a chance to see a representation
of an oil platform, which is normally in the sea over the horizon. This
allows the child to understand where the liquid, which allows the car
to move, comes from.
